Wedding Characters Ceramic Oval Ornament
August 6, 2007
If you can’t afford to shell out the thousands of dollars it can cost to have a professional photographer record your wedding day moments, why not consider having a series of ornaments painted with images of you and the wedding party? They’re just $14.95 each, though I have no idea how large they are. Really, these ornaments could be the size of a bottle of nail polish and there’s no way to tell.
Though, if you’re willing to risk potential gift-related embarrassment and willing to be turned into an impersonal cartoon, I suppose there are worse gifts that you could give.
Then again, don’t the bridesmaid face choices look sort of evil? I think it has something to do with the eyelashes. Yes, those are perhaps the creepiest eyelashes I’ve ever seen. Well, that and they appear to have the largest mouths known to any cartoon character in existence.

Bridal Party ornament is available at Personal Creations and comes with three skin color choices, a bazillion hairstyle choices, and totally creepy faces. Ugh, like little zombie cartoons all coming to get me. I’m totally going to have nightmares now.

I guess those of us with dark skin are only allowed short or medium length hair?

Nevermind…checked out the website. Those faces are creepy as all hell though. I don’t recommend checking out that website if you’ve had a drink recently…

I still can’t get those evil eyes out of my head.

You been to PosePrints.com? Similar idea, but it’s on stationery (my friend used PosePrints for some Bridal Shower invitations), and the faces are adorable — definitely NOT creepy!

Jean - Thanks for the info. The Pose Prints cards aren’t creepy, but I’m a little unnerved by cartoon images of real people

Definately creepy. And what a bizarre gift.

They could be useful, though, at a skeet shoot - if you happen to run out of little skeets to shoot.
Pull!

I bought one for my sister and her fiance, it turned out pretty cool! And in case anyone is wondering it’s about 3.5 by 5 inches.

I got one of these as a gift… ugh! Where am I suppose to hang it? I use it as a plate under my glue gun. A little bit of glue has oozed onto some of the faces.
I also received a really good gift recently, again I was the bride’s maid, it made having to pay for a peach dress some what worth it.
The bride ordered custom designed Swarovski crystal mini jean purses for each of us. Mine had a stinking cute martini on it. I get so many compliments whenever I use it. I checked out their site, www.PookiesPurses.com and they are only $15.00! I would have never guessed they were so inexpensive. I orderd palm tree purse for my niece and can’t wait for it to come.
Cool idea. Kudos for the purse but thumbs down for choosing fricking peach as a wedding color!
