Gift Ideas for Beer-Loving Groomsmen

The Innovation Workshop has the perfect answer to the question “What is a good gift for groomsmen?” It turns out that every groomsman wants a stationary bottle opener. Yes, all groomsmen would prefer a wall-mounted device engraved with the happy couple’s name instead of something more fun, but less practical. After all, a round of golf or a bottle of gin is an impermanent reminder of the role these special men play on wedding days. According to Innovation Workshop, “Guys keep ‘em, guys use ‘em.” I believe there’s some truth to this statement, because if you ever install one of these in your home you aren’t likely to remove it from your cabinet. After all, it would leave enormous, gaping holes in the drywall.
Or you could just spend the $14.50 on one for yourself and be reminded of your anniversary date every time you open a beer.
Ok, due to some insightful comments, I’ve amended my thoughts on this one. Get your groomsman a personalized bottle opener and cap catcher from Innovation Workshop, just don’t put your freaking wedding date on it.

I think the name on there is ‘Tanith,’ a Greek goddess of love. I never understood people naming their kids things like that.

Once when I was staying in a Four Points Sheraton in Myrtle Beach, one of those bottle openers were mounted in the bathroom on the edge of the sink. It was within easy reach of the toilet. I wondered how many people drank beer in my room while on the toilet.

Hey! I think I came across your blog through someone that frequents the weddingbee…? Anyhoo your blog has been making me LMAO - however, I bought one of the beer openers for my fiance as a Christmas gift and he LOVED it, I got one with the option to use a magent or screw it into the wall. THe magnet is super strong to it is on our fridge - he uses it everytime he reaches for a bottle of beer
It says “Pat’s Bar” on it…the plan is to put it in our finished rec room (when we get one) in the “bar” area - I think it is a great idea if you have beer loving attendant…but perhaps dont put you’re wedding date on it…lol
